Budget Van Insurance agree new talkSPORT 1089/1053am sponsorship deal

Budget Van Insurance has kicked off a third sponsorship deal with talkSPORT, the UK’s only national commercial speech radio station.  The agreement, which runs for 12 months, sponsors the Hawksbee and Jacobs (H&J) show and features an extensive package of online activity through talkSPORT.net to be launched in September - when each show will have its own online channel. 

The H&J show attracts 782,000 listeners each week and features some of the biggest guests from the world of showbiz and sport. 

Sponsored online activity will feature podcasts of the week’s show highlights; branded online message boards, blogs and email alerts for subscribers.  Podcasts will be available via the talkSPORT website and iTunes. 

The deal will continue to include sponsorship of the station’s favourite ‘Clips of the Week’ - where H&J play the best bloopers and golden gaffs from talkSPORT presenters over the week.

The new deal follows successful stints for Budget Van Insurance sponsoring the Ian Collins’ and Jon Gaunt mid morning shows during 2006 and a run on the H&J show from January to June 2007.
