MANCHESTER VAN DRIVER SCOOPS £1,000 CASH
January 2007Budget Van Insurance has awarded Ben Mayor-Talks from Bury, Manchester, the top prize of £1,000, in a prize draw for the ‘Revenge of the Van Man’ game. Players had to dodge a ticket and launch a traffic warden into the nearest skip, pot hole or shopping trolley!
Revenge of The Van Man was created for all drivers who have ever had a run in with a traffic warden, to get their own back in a fun and harmless way. Not only did Ben get his revenge but he also managed to walk away with some money in his pocket too!
Ben Mayor-Talks says:
“I am thrilled to receive the top prize, and to be the one receiving the money rather than the other way round for once. It’s a fine achievement.”
Matthew Gledhill, Managing Director, Budget Van Insurance says:
“We created the game as a bit of harmless fun, to give van drivers the perfect antidote to vent their frustration. I hope Ben enjoys his prize and doesn’t receive any more tickets!”
