Budget Van Insurance offer bright spark the chance to win a £6k Electrician Competition
April 2009Budget Van Insurance has launched a competition with the Daily Mirror to offer someone the chance to win up to £6k worth of training, to become an electrician, absolutely free!!
The prize is an in-depth ‘Become an Electrician’ course package, provided through OLCI Construction Training, resulting in City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3 and City & Guilds 2356 NVQ Level 3 upon successful completion. The courses cover theory, practice and on-site components. With course centres up and down the country, anyone can enter!1
Research by Budget Van Insurance shows that electricians are in demand by over a quarter of the country2 with some estimates claiming as many as 37,000 new electricians are needed to fill the gap3.

The course is flexible and must be completed within two years from the date of enrolment. If entrants do not hold the required Maths qualification, he/she can complete a short Maths home-study course alongside the ‘Become an Electrician’ course package, at cost.
