Budget Van Insurance plug UK plumbing gap with £5k Plumbing Competition

Budget Van Insurance has launched a competition with the Daily Mirror to offer someone the chance to win £5k worth of training, to become a plumber, absolutely free!!

The prize is an intensive eight week non-residential plumbing course, provided through OLCI Construction Training, which leads to a City and Guilds certificate 6129 level two certificate upon successful completion of the course. The competition closes on 24th October and the winner will be announced on or before the 20th November.

Recent research by Budget Van Insurance shows that plumbers are the tradespeople most in demand by the UK public (46 per cent), with some estimates claiming as many as 30,000 new plumbers are needed to fill the gap.
